These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Your Bro Android application and this website. By using the app or the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
Product description
Your Bro is an Android application for tasks, habits, notes, reminders, voice and video notes, and an encrypted backup. It is designed with a focus on privacy and local storage.
Eligibility and user responsibility
You are responsible for the security of your device, your passwords, your PIN, your biometric setup and your backup password, and for using the app lawfully. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your country.
Local storage and accounts
The app can work locally on your device without a cloud account. Google Drive is optional and used only for an encrypted backup if you enable it. You are responsible for any third-party account (for example, Google) that you choose to connect.
Pricing, trial and paid access
Your Bro may offer a free trial period. Currently the trial lasts 30 days and does not require a bank card. After the trial ends, continued use of the full version may require purchasing yearly access. The current price of yearly access is $20 unless stated otherwise on the checkout page. Payments may be processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record / payment provider, and Paddle Buyer Terms may apply.
Paid products and subscriptions
If paid products or subscriptions are offered, payments are processed by Paddle acting as Merchant of Record (reseller / payment provider). Paddle may handle billing, taxes and VAT where applicable, and may appear on your receipt or statement. Subscription terms, prices and renewal conditions are shown at the point of purchase.
License
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own use, in accordance with these Terms. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app or services: no illegal use, no abuse, no attempts to disrupt or interfere with the services, and no reverse engineering except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Backup and data loss disclaimer
The encrypted backup requires a separate backup password. If you lose this password, recovery may be impossible. Full restoration of all data and media on every device is not guaranteed. Keep your backup password safe and maintain your own copies of important data.
Security disclaimer
The app uses security mechanisms such as SQLCipher database encryption, AES-256-GCM media encryption, PIN and biometric protection. No system can provide absolute security: the security of your device, your passwords and your own practices also matter.
Updates and changes
The app and these Terms may change over time. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should stop using the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
Access to paid features or services may be limited or terminated in cases of abuse, fraud, or payment problems, where applicable and permitted by law.

General provisions
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under your local law.
